Voltammeter - Linear Scan model.
We manufacture a fetching set of instrumentation that includes a Voltammeter
an X-Y cum X-t Plotter, and an Inverter that makes it all portable.
The Voltammeter we have produced is a Linear
Scan model which is especially designed to quantify current
on a stripping scan and also has an analog meter to indicate proximity
in the respect of voltage in the area of anodic and cathodic limits,
voltage and current related voltage. The Voltammeter
has an output plug that allows connection to a digital meter. It is
made in a sturdy wood casing and has an engraved Aluminium faceplate.
Cycles between adjustable limits can be made when necessary.
We have designs for Direct Pulse Instrumentation but expect that the
Linear Scan model should satisfy even the most demanding occasion.
The Voltammeter
also contains a simulated elecrochemical cell composed of 3 resistors
which makes trial runs easy.
The Voltammeter comes with a manual containing the
details of the electronic design for this chemical computing machine.
The manual can be purchased separately.
The X-Y / X-t Automatic Intelligent Motionless Plotter has divider
potentiometers on both X and Y channels and a voltage monitor subroutine
that enables the user to get the record on scale for a voltage input
of up to 100 Volts.
Included with the "monitor" are 3 other subroutines. These
are Analog data conversion when the sampling speed can vary from 500
samples per second to 1 sample per hour. 500 samples are taken in both
X and Y. The Y channel has a peak detector algorithm which makes for
the intelligence. Peaks are demarcated in time and can be read back
at the users convenience. The full 500 points are recorded in RAM and
can be read back and plotted on paper.
The plotter has a 4 line lcd meter and a numeric keyboard for the
user to read results and choose between subroutines. It can be synchronized
to capture data on a positive Sync. signal. This makes for convenience
when fast sweeps are needed.
Alternatively the conversion can be initiated and stopped with the
keyboard. Both channels have a resolution of 12 bits on 4.096Volts ie
1mV.
It has general purpose application and with its wide sampling rate
should be found most useful in the Laboratory.
The Inverter 12VDC TO 220VAC makes the whole set up portable.
We also have a small Laboratory additionally equipped with a burrette,
in which we can do inorganic analysis.
Analog Data Capture
We have also most recently become adept at the Visual Basic 6 controlled
Analog Data Capture procedures.
By using a PC in addition to the Visual Display on your screen you
can also easily access the printer for hard copy. You can also capture,
by using a USB port, up to 6 simultaneous voltage channels -up to 10V,
and read or write digital data to hopefully a valuable component.
To set up chromatography all you need is a column and a katherometer.
Most Laboratory instrumentation should be easy to produce with a few
additional components.
